Dougal Thorburn - Coast to Coast 2009

Dr Dougal Thorburn finished 3rd (of 273 races) in the 2 day individual race.

Dr Dougal Thorburn has been working as a locum through Triple0 so he could maximise training opportunities for the gruelling Speights Coast to Coast Adventure race across the South Island of New Zealand. Dougal knew he would be competitive in the two day individual men's and all his hard training paid off with him crossing the finish line in third place!

Triple0's sponsored doctor Dr Martin de Bock teamed up with Valerie Meyer and finished 6th (of 31 teams) in the mixed teams two day event. Martin has had much success in numerous events throughout NZ
