Position Details
This hospital is a 181 bed base hospital which opened in late 2004, serving a population of 107,000. The new hospital features digital radiology technology with MRI and CT capability, as well as an electronic patient management system. Resident medical officers (junior doctors) benefit from seeing a broad range of pathology and having plenty of hands on experience, with the support of senior staff and the Medical Officers Unit.
This is a modern city with fantastic facilities including a brand new indoor velodrome, multi-sport complex, a zero-fees tertiary education provider and plenty of cafes and restaurants. Position Requirements
Applicants will need relevant experience in this speciality and be eligible for registration with the New Zealand Medical Council.
