Position Details
This Hospital is a 54 bed hospital consisting of Medical / Surgical / Rehabilitation patients, a birthing unit and a 24 hour Emergency Department. On site, they have allied health services of Laboratory, Radiology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Workers, District Nurses, Public Health Nurses, Dental Therapists, Vision Hearing Testers, Dieticians, Diabetic Educators and a very busy Outpatients Department with visiting Specialists.
This is a beautiful small town situated at the base of the hills near the sea. It is a haven for divers, trampers and has easy access to most sporting facilities. It is well known for its beaches and hills covered with a sub-tropical rainforest, has excellent schools, pre-schools, and a friendly community atmosphere.
Position Requirements
Applicants will need relevant experience in this speciality and be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
