Palliative Care Medical Officer

Medical Officer – Hospice

Our client is looking for a Medical Officer to provide specialist palliative care to hospice patients/family/whanau. You will work closely with a broader multi-disciplinary team to focus on providing optimum end of live care to all as well as be an ambassador for the hospice.

The hospice provides a variety of specialist care services for people who have a life-limiting illnesses. Care is provided to people in their own homes, aged care facilities and in the hospice inpatient unit that houses 10 private rooms.

Located in one of New Zealand’s sunniest spots the region has a lot to offer from its beautiful reserves and beaches as well as national parks which offer excellent walking and tramping opportunities.
