ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is looking for a Rehabilitation Registrar to join them from January 2022.
We are seeking a talented Rehabilitation Registrar to join the team of dedicated health professionals as part of a job-share opportunity. Whether you are already in training or looking to join the programme, we welcome expressions of interest from those who are keen to work in this area.
There are three consultants and the position is accredited by the AFRM-RACP for Advanced training in Rehabilitation Medicine and is a great place to learn, see and experience a number of aspects of Acquired Brain Injury, Stroke and General Rehabilitation Medicine. The Consultants take a keen interest in assisting their staff participate in the training programme and support preparation for the associated training modules and examinations.
Working at ISIS will provide the successful candidate with a good opportunity for great exposure to patients requiring holistic rehabilitation as well as fantastic teaching experiences. Medical staff at ISIS have great links with neuro-radiology and participate a weekly radiological session together with the neurosurgeons and neurologists. ISIS Medical Staff also participate in the neuroscience programme which also includes the Department of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychology. Peer review meetings are held on a monthly basis and a Journal Club is held monthly with topics being presented in turn by the various sub-specialities. .
On-Call is shared with the consultants and generally 1:3 on-call from home for 1 week at a time from 08:00 to 23:00.
We are interested in hearing from RMOs with a keen interest in the area of Rehabilitation Medicine and have a minimum of 2 years post graduate medical experience.
