About the role
Locum shifts available for O&G Consultant Locum working in a Hospital based in the North Island.
Dates:
ASAP or 7th July through till the end of September 2025
Duties:
7-13 July
Day maternity ward cover for the 8th of July
24 hour cover for Wednesday 9 July
Friday -Sunday 11-13th July (24 hour cover).
No planned care, just acutes more information to be provided for the longer term assignment.
Rates:
$2000 per day
$500 per on call
$4500 if working 4pm Friday to 8am Monday
Other Details:
Return travel and accommodation booked and provided for you.
ABOUT THE HOSPITAL
With all major specialties represented onsite except Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery and Cardiothoracic, this hospital is one of the largest provincial hospitals in New Zealand. ICU has 11 beds and Coronary Care Unit 6. Operating Theatre has eight theatres plus a dedicated Endoscopy Unit. Diagnostic facilities on site include MRI, 40 slice CT scanner, nuclear medicine, laboratory services etc. Full emergency retrieval and transport services are available with a rescue helicopter based on site. The Hospital has a strong reputation for excellent quality of experience there are many opportunities for pursuing vocational training across all specialities.
