General Practitioner/Family Practitioner

We’re looking for experienced, vocationally trained GP's to work at our Christchurch based clinic, who are seeking both lifestyle and professional growth opportunities abroad.

Eligibility Requirements (CHS Recognition)

• Must hold a recognised GP qualification: MRCGP, FRACGP/FACRRM, ABFM, or MMed, Fam Med (Singapore)
• MCNZ may also recognise equivalents from Canada, Ireland, and South Africa (case dependent)
• Minimum of 4 years' experience as a vocational GP

Work in New Zealand (Provisional Registration)

• 12–18 months supervised practice in an approved setting
• Regular supervisor reports to MCNZ
• Upon completion, apply for Full Vocational Registration

Other Requirements

• Participate in 1 weekend roster every 4 weeks
• Commit to ongoing CPD requirements (RNZCGP or equivalent)
• Adapt to team-based, innovative care models
