Nelson and Wairau hospital are looking for locum Ophthalmologist's with availability in 2026.
With both hospitals needing cover, they are open to hearing from doctors with any availability.
If weekend shifts work better for you, they can accommodate this (I.e. Wed - Sun) as they are able to organise weekend clinics if need be.

ABOUT NELSON HOSPITAL
This hospital is the major hospital for the region with patients referred here for specialised services from other regional hospitals. The hospital provides the services including paediatrics, mental health, medical, surgical and maternity.
ABOUT WAIRAU HOSPITAL
The hospital has a well-established coronary and intensive care unit, a neonatal unit, a radiology service (which includes nuclear medicine, ultrasound and CT scanning capabilities), laboratory services, as well as physiotherapy and inpatient wards consist of medical, surgical, day stay, paediatric, obstetric, and elderly assessment and rehabilitation units.
