About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic and / or Interventional Radiologist to support the delivery of high-quality imaging, reporting, and procedural services across acute, elective, inpatient, and outpatient settings. This role will suit a clinician who enjoys working closely with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to timely diagnosis, clinical decision-making, and patient-focused care.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert interpretation and reporting of diagnostic imaging, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and plain film radiography.
- Perform and report on interventional radiology procedures, depending on subspecialty interest, experience, and service needs.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and support clinical decision-making.
- Support acute and elective imaging services across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Participate in on-call or after-hours reporting rosters as required by the service.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and clinically relevant reporting in line with accepted standards, protocols, and patient safety expectations.
- Engage in quality assurance, audit, clinical governance, and continuous improvement activities.
- Work collaboratively with radiology colleagues, referrers, clinical teams, and support staff to deliver efficient and high-quality imaging services.
- Eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
- Fellowship or equivalent specialist qualification in Radiology, such as FRANZCR or an internationally recognised equivalent.
- Experience in diagnostic radiology and / or interventional radiology, depending on the scope of the role.
- Strong communication, clinical judgement, and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- A focus on clinical accuracy, timely reporting, and continuous service improvement.
