Locum Respiratory Medicine Physician

Whangarei Hospital is looking for locum cover to provide support to the department. They are open to hearing from any doctors with availability from March onwards, whether this be part time or full time hours.

Start Date: Flexible
Term: Several weeks to several months (negotiable)
Location: Whang?rei Hospital, Northland
Role Details:

• Flexible commitment: 2–5 days per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• No on-call component

• Patient mix includes a broad range of acute and chronic respiratory conditions

• Collaborative team environment with Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialists, nursing staff, allied health professionals, and SMOs

Responsibilities (depending on days worked):

• Procedures including Bronchoscopies, EBUS, Chest drains

• Outpatient clinics

• Participation in two MDMs per week

• RMS referrals

• Results sign-off
