Required Skills & Essential Qualifications
- Proven clinical experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and high-quality care
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy surgical environment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Must be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with aesthetic and cosmetic procedures
- Knowledge of latest advancements in reconstructive techniques
- Prior involvement in multidisciplinary clinical projects or audits
- Skills in teaching or mentoring junior staff
Preferred Experience
- Relevant postgraduate clinical experience in similar surgical settings
- Ability to handle complex surgical cases with confidence and precision
- Evidence of ongoing professional development through courses, audits, or research
- Experience working in diverse patient populations
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and escalate care as needed

- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
- Flexibility to participate in on-call or weekend rotations if required
- Successful completion of standard onboarding and compliance checks
