Required Skills & Essential Qualifications

• Proven clinical capability across a broad spectrum of general medicine cases
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage a busy caseload while maintaining a focus on quality and patient safety
• Demonstrated commitment to high standards of clinical care and professionalism
• Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Must be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience in urgent or emergency medicine
• Additional training or interest in chronic disease management
• Knowledge of or interest in community health initiatives
• Fluency in multiple languages is beneficial
• Experience with quality improvement programs or clinical audits

Preferred Experience

• Relevant postgraduate clinical experience in similar healthcare settings
• Strong clinical reasoning and prioritisation skills
• Effective teamwork and communication within multidisciplinary teams
• Evidence of ongoing professional development, including participation in audits or teaching
• Ability to adapt to evolving clinical demands and maintain high standards of patient care

• Eligibility to work in New Zealand
• Flexibility to participate in on-call rosters as needed
• Successful completion of standard onboarding and compliance checks
• Willingness to travel locally if required
