Required Skills & Essential Qualifications
- Proven clinical capability across a broad spectrum of general medicine cases
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a busy caseload while maintaining a focus on quality and patient safety
- Demonstrated commitment to high standards of clinical care and professionalism
- Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Must be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience in urgent or emergency medicine
- Additional training or interest in chronic disease management
- Knowledge of or interest in community health initiatives
- Fluency in multiple languages is beneficial
- Experience with quality improvement programs or clinical audits
Preferred Experience
- Relevant postgraduate clinical experience in similar healthcare settings
- Strong clinical reasoning and prioritisation skills
- Effective teamwork and communication within multidisciplinary teams
- Evidence of ongoing professional development, including participation in audits or teaching
- Ability to adapt to evolving clinical demands and maintain high standards of patient care

- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
- Flexibility to participate in on-call rosters as needed
- Successful completion of standard onboarding and compliance checks
- Willingness to travel locally if required
