Required Skills & Essential Qualifications

• Proven clinical expertise in ENT surgeries and patient management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and team members
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards in clinical practice
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage complex cases efficiently
• Must be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience in minimally invasive ENT procedures
• Competence in mentoring junior staff or trainees
• Engagement in continuous professional development activities
• Knowledge of outpatient and surgical outpatient clinic operations

Preferred Experience

• Relevant postgraduate clinical experience in ENT within a hospital setting
• Demonstrated excellence in clinical reasoning, case escalation, and decision-making
• Experience working in team-based, multidisciplinary healthcare environments
• Evidence of ongoing professional development or participation in quality improvement initiatives

• Flexibility to participate in on-call and weekend rotations
