Required Skills & Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in neurology, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong clinical reasoning, prioritisation, and escalation skills in busy environments
- Ability to maintain the highest safety and quality standards in all aspects of practice
- Must be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with neurological diagnostic tools and techniques
- Knowledge of current best practices and emerging trends in neurology
- Ability to participate in clinical research or quality improvement initiatives
- Skills in teaching or mentoring junior staff
Preferred Experience:
- Relevant postgraduate clinical experience in neurology or related settings
- Evidence of ongoing professional development through audits, teaching, or QI projects
- Demonstrated leadership in complex case management
- Collaboration within multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes

- Eligibility to work unrestricted in New Zealand
- Flexibility to participate in on-call or rostered shifts as required
- Completion of standard onboarding and compliance checks
- Willingness to engage in occasional travel for professional development or regional outreach
